Hello. My Name is Tim.

Obligatory "About Me" Page

Totally unnecessary, yet somehow unavoidable.

Picture of Me

As you might have guessed, I'm a designer/web developer/musician in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in Portland, and have recently returned after a brief exile in Eugene and an even briefer stint in Nashville. I spend my days in the urban paradise of Portland's Pearl District, answering e-mail and helping to make pretty web pages for Panic, Inc. It's a wonderful life.

My interests include music, art, theology and iPods. My interests used to include soccer, but my soccer career imploded right about the time I tore a ligament in my knee. I am fortunate enough to play in a band with four gentlemen far more talented than I am. You can listen to the record— which I had nothing to do with—on our website, or you can buy it at Target.com.

I'm a university-educated graphic designer, which makes me sound important. In school I focused a lot on typography and traditional printing methods, like letterpress and silkscreen. I do most of my work on computers now, but there are remnants of that hand-made aesthetic throughout just about everything I do. This page and my blog, with their pseudo-minimalist techie feel, are notable exceptions.

I will almost certainly add more self-important and useless information to this page before all is said and done, but if you're already hungry for more, you can read all about me on my page at MySpace. If you're cool enough to know what "the facebook" is, I'm on there, too.

If you actually read down this far, I'm both flattered and impressed. Thanks for the interest. Now go hire me. Or just
